A mammoth is any species of the extinct elephantid genus Mammuthus. The various species of mammoth were commonly equipped with long, curved tusks and, in northern species, a covering of long hair. Recent research of sediments in Alaska indicates mammoths survived on the American mainland until 10,000 years ago.
This listing is for one small flake of Mammoth tooth. The teeth are often fragile and break along the enamel lines. Each piece is 1 to 3 inches.
