This piece is handcrafted using a technique called Electroforming. By submerging the piece in acid and running electricity through it for 24-48 hours, we are able to "grow" copper deposits over an organic item. This preserves the intricate details and keeps the original item forever encased in copper. It's science that feels like magic!
